The following studies help put individual ingredients into context. They do not prove efficacy of ProstaLin-C™ as a finished product.
In healthy volunteers, BCM-95™ showed approximately 6.93-fold higher relative bioavailability than standard curcumin. This small pilot study assessed absorption, not prostate outcomes.
Antony et al., 2008 – PubMed ↗In 161 men awaiting prostatectomy, a diet containing 30 g/day ground flaxseed was associated with lower tumour proliferation markers. The finding cannot be directly extrapolated to a lignan extract.
Demark-Wahnefried et al., 2008 – PubMed ↗Forty men received 15 mg lycopene or placebo for six months. The study reported favourable exploratory changes in PSA, prostate volume and symptoms. The small sample requires cautious interpretation.
Schwarz et al., 2008 – PubMed ↗In 97 patients receiving intermittent androgen deprivation, the primary endpoint did not differ significantly; PSA progression during active intake was lower in the curcumin group. This cannot be extrapolated to supplementation in healthy men.
Choi et al., 2019 – PubMed ↗Take one capsule each time.
Swallow with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
